Applications
Helium bombing systems are ideal for manufacturers of small sealed electronics and other hermetically sealed devices which cannot be filled with helium directly. The test parts are placed in a helium gas exposed pressure chamber, allowing the helium to penetrate the part. After helium exposure, the part is removed and placed in a vacuum chamber connected to the leak detector to determine if the part leak rate is acceptable. Important considerations include pressurization time, helium bombing pressure, internal volume, and leak size.
