Air Leak Testing has been a mainstay for many industries for many years. Air leak testing involves a family of several test methods including pressure decay, bubble immersion and mass flow using air as the test gas. These techniques are capable of measuring leakage outside-in or inside-out under vacuum or pressure conditions. Leakage is measured by creating a pressure differential across the test part and measuring the pressure rise or drop using a pressure transducer or the actual flow using a mass flow meter.

Leak Tester Calibration

LACO's Air Leak Standards are designed for air or nitrogen and are ideal in calibrating air leak testing instruments and leak test systems. Typically these are open-style leak standards designed to take the customers gas and leak at a given rate, at a specific inlet condition. LACO can also provide a reservoir to control the inlet conditions.
