Customer required a custom leak test system using R410a to leak test refrigerant control valves. System requirements included:

  • Leak test refrigerant-charged control valves using the refrigerant (R410a) as the tracer gas
  • High production demand
  • Prevent valve components and residues from interfering with leak measurement signal
  • Method of calibrating the system

We engineered a custom, dual-chamber leak test system using RGA refrigerant as the tracer gas. Multiple leak test chambers accommodated batch testing and increased throughput with a leak test manifold calibrated for multiple calibrations.

  • Dual chamber RGA-based leak test system
  • Batch testing
  • Multiple calibrated leak manifold for system calibration
