LACO’s Helium Spray Probes are designed for use in hard vacuum outside-in maintenance or production leak detection applications. Our helium spray probes include 10 feet of poly hose with stainless steel fitting, both rigid and flexible probes, and a helium regulator (LHREG-01). Our LHSP07 helium spray probe features a refillable reservoir for convenient transportation to any location without taking a helium bottle. All spray probes are compatible with an optional helium regulator for immediate connection to your helium bottle.
The hard vacuum outside-in method utilizes a spray probe to spray helium around the outside of a part under vacuum. A leak detector is then used to verify leak integrity.
The LHSP and LHSP07 can be fed helium up to the maximum pressure of 150 psig and then regulated down on the spray probe.
The LHSP07 reservoir can be filled up to 150 psig maximum pressure. Spare or additional canisters can be ordered using part number LMSA96628.
