A global supplier of medical products requested the design of a custom package testing system for medical packaging to ASTM D6653 specifications. We engineered a custom package testing system with a 36" cube vacuum chamber, vacuum pump, and VC-3500 vacuum controller for flexible vacuum and pressure control, testing, and data logging.

  • 8" DIA glass viewport on door with internal LED lighting
  • Vacuum and pressure range: ATM to full vacuum to 5 psig
  • Custom ports include vent, gauge, and temperature sensor
  • Vacuum controller for adjustable parameter vacuum (feet elevation), pump down and vent ramp rates, and hold times in auto mode
  • Electronically heated internal shelf for rated to 200 °F — includes thermocouple, electrical feedthrough, and external temperature digital PID temperature controller
