A well-known power systems company that provides mobile power for land, maritime and aeronautical applications required a heated vacuum chamber for product testing under the following requirements: 

  • Chamber size of 4.4 cubic feet 
  • Vacuum pressure down to 1 x 10-6 Torr 
  • Heating up to 200 °C
  • Visibility of product undergoing testing

We engineered a custom thermal vacuum system with electric heaters, LED lighting, a large viewport for part test observation, and a HC-1000 Temperature Controller  for heat control.

  • Fully integrated thermal vacuum system with easily movable cart and control system
  • Chamber lid features internal LED strip lighting, large viewport, and shock-assisted lift
  • High volume chamber with external band heaters and insulation
